In Memory of Harvey Gardner
He was predeceased by his father Percy and his mother Katheryn. As a lifelong rancher, Harvey was a dedicated steward of the environment, particularly the Eastern Slopes of Alberta where he lived his entire life. He was committed to supporting landowner rights and was proud of his reconciliatory efforts between landowners and conservation groups. Harvey will be sorely missed by his family and friends. His loss will be felt by the ranching community and by all those who had the good fortune to know him. Harvey would be delighted if you could pull an invasive weed on his behalf. A Memorial Service will be held, in celebration of Harvey's life, on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Administration Building of the Municipal District of Ranchland at Chain Lakes Provincial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Harvey's honour to the Cancer Clinic, c/o High River District Health Care Foundation, 560 - 9 Avenue S.W., High River, AB T1V 1W4 or online at www.highriverhealthfoundation.ca or to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent to the family through bluebirdvalley@gmail.com or to RR1, Nanton, AB T0L 1R0.
