We received some great photos for fall photo contest. We’ll be announcing the winners and posting the photos for the fall contest very soon.
But we’re not done yet. Help keep the momentum going submit your winter photos winter photo contest. So, get outdoors and keep snapping those pics from January until the end of March and submit your winter photos by April 1, 2017
With seven diverse categories to choose from, and Alberta as your canvas, we look forward to seeing even more of your truly amazing snapshots from across the province.

We’re looking for diverse and fascinating photos that capture:
There will be one grand prize overall and a 1st prize and honorable mention photo in each category for each season.
All residents of Alberta are eligible to submit photos to the contest. All photographs must have been taken by the individual making the submission. Contributors retain their rights to their photographs; however, by entering the contest, you grant Nature Alberta a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any Nature Alberta purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of Nature Alberta programs and/or services and/or publications. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. Nature Alberta will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. Winning photos will be selected by a selection committee.
When taking your photos please remember that getting too close to birds and other wildlife can disrupt and negatively affect their behaviour and habitat, or damage plants and the natural environment. Use a camera with a telephoto lens to keep a safe, respectful distance from birds and animals.
