World Migratory Bird Day Spring 2025

Nature Alberta is thrilled to partner with the Big Lake Environmental Support Society again to co-host World Migratory Bird Day on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Our annual event continues to grow in popularity and promises to be a memorable celebration of migratory birds. This year’s World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) theme is creating bird-friendly cities and communities.

Things to do include:

  • Birdwatching led by Nature Alberta and the St. Albert Photography club at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM
  • Presentations by the Musee Heritage Museum at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM
