Join Alberta Mycological Society for an in informative afternoon at Akesi Farms, the home of Fungi Akuafo. Located 1.5 hours from Calgary/Red Deer, near Sundre, Alberta.
In this four hour in-person workshop they will walk through the low-tech steps to growing oyster mushrooms in buckets using grain spawn and straw.
The workshop will be delivered using a combination of presentations, live demonstrations and hands-on practice.
You will go home with:
One bag of blue oyster grain spawn
One bag of chopped straw
5 one gallon plastic buckets
Pack your lunch and bring warm clothes as the workshop takes place in our barn!
