2024 Family Nature Nights: Avian Adventures
FREE FUN for families with kids aged 4-12 although everyone is welcome and donations are encouraged!
When: Wednesday, July 10, 2024
Registration from 6:00-6:25PM | Activities from 6:30–8:30 PM
Where: Kerry Wood Nature Centre, 6300 45 Ave, Red Deer
What: Join Kerry Wood Nature Centre and Nature Alberta to go on an ‘Avian Adventure’! Go on a guided nature walk around the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary with interpreters from the Kerry Wood Nature Centre. Engage in bird activities put on by Red Deer River Naturalists and learn about watersheds from the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance.
Weather Details: Will run rain or shine - please dress for the weather. In the event of extreme weather, notice of cancellation will be posted on our Facebook page and in the Facebook Event Discussion.
Registration Details: Registration is completed on-site from 6-6:25 pm. We can only accommodate a limited number of families at these events. Be sure to arrive early to secure your family’s spot.
