November 21st to Late-April
It’s that time of year again! The Beaverhill Bird Observatory is now taking bookings for their BirdSmart education program. This program combines a captivating presentation with the opportunity to meet a live bird of prey at the end! This opportunity is perfect for classrooms, birthday parties, seniors centers, after-school groups, or private events. Their program offers a variety of topics following the Alberta school curriculum, but presentations can be customized for any age group or interest.
They also graciously recognize that budgetary difficulties are a reality, so the program's price remains discounted this year with a 10% discount for bookings with multiple same-day presentations.
You can meet their new education birds: Nina the Burrowing Owl, Tansi the Great Horned Owl, and Keith the Red-tailed Hawk. Remy the American Kestrel and Maple the Peregrine Falcon will also be returning this year!
