Friends of Jasper National Park
Pyramid Mountain by L. de GROOT
Update since the Jasper Complex Wildfire:
Our Community Connected By a Love of Nature has heavy hearts as we receive updates from the devastating wildfire in Jasper National Park, where we operate, live, and recreate. Our member club, Friends of Jasper National Park, runs a store in the Info Centre, mobilizes volunteers to maintain trails through all seasons, and hosts amazing community events like guided Full Moon walks and many more seen below. This is going to be an extremely difficult time for them going forward. If you can, please visit their website, become a member, and send a donation to give them hope, support, and strength to overcome this tragedy. Visit their website at: https://friendsofjasper.com/ca/
The Friends of Jasper National Park, with a vision to foster care and responsibility to protect and share the ecology and culture of Jasper National Park for future generations, encourages stewardship and connects people to Jasper National Park through educational programs, projects and volunteer opportunities. To view all their events check out their website here or visit their eventbrite page here.
