Butterfly Count with Crooked Creek Conservancy Society of Athabasca

Join the Crooked Creek Conservancy Society of Athabasca for a free butterfly count event and explore the world of butterflies through citizen science. Enjoy a presentation on Alberta butterflies and how to collect them before breaking out into groups to collect observations that will contribute to citizen science. Finish off the afternoon by coming back together and comparing observations. The Alberta Lepidopterists Guild will also be in attendance to provide participants with their expert knowledge.

Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
