ENC Bird Study: Loons

Nothing elicits the feeling of the north woods more than the haunting call of a loon across a wilderness lake.

Edmonton Nature Club invites you to join Kim as she provides an overview of the 5 species of loons, with the focus mainly on the Common Loon, which can be seen in Alberta. Kim will also introduce several Citizen Science groups nationally that are intensely studying, researching and focusing conservation efforts on loons. The rescue and rehabilitation of loons will also be discussed.
