Family Day at Elk Island National Park

Join the Friends of Elk Island Society on February 20th, at Elk Island National Park for a Family Day event, where you can sit by a fire, listen to a fiddler play tunes, and enjoy a hot dog, smores, and hot chocolate. Refreshments will also be served at the Golf Course Clubhouse from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, where you will find FEIS displays and a Parks Canada management plan engagement table.

You can also enjoy cross-country skiing on newly created ski trails on the Golf Course or skating on the rink on Astotin Lake.

Snowshoe rentals will be available from the Astotin Lake Campground kiosk between 11 am - 6 pm.

The Astotin Theatre will be open with Parks Canada interpreters, artifacts, and movies on the big screen.
