Helen Schuler Travel Series Special Event Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Helen Schuler Nature Centre's Travel Adventures Series. This series is a presentation of local world travelers sharing their adventures with photographs that will help attendees discover the plants, animals, and people of places you’ve always dreamed of exploring! They have showcased numerous travelers and destinations - including Australia, Mexico, Namibia, Tanzania, Japan, Canary Islands, New Zealand, and more!

Duties include:

• assisting with setup and takedown
• helping greet attendees
• encouraging donations in support of Helen Schuler's mission

Time Commitment:

• Confidentiality Agreement Signed (5 minutes)
• Health & Safety (1.5 hours)
• In-Person Interview (30 minutes)
• Orientation (2 hours)
• Police Information Check (Must Be At Least In Process)
• Volunteering for the event (a shift for each event is about 2.5 hours)
