The best place for additional guidance and tips on nature photography is YouTube. Many experienced nature photographers gravitate to teaching and post "how to" videos on a wide range of topics. The following is a list of some the best out there.
- Simon d'Entremont. A photographer from eastern Canada who provides educational videos on a wide range of topics related to nature photography.
- Steve Perry. A U.S. photographer with excellent how-to videos focusing on wildlife photography techniques.
- Jan Wegner. A photographer from Australia with lots of good wildlife photography tips (especially birds) as well gear reviews.
- Will Goodlet. A photographer from South Africa who provides field tips for wildlife photography.
- Arthur Morris. A photographer from the southern US who shares tips based on his decades of wildlife photography experience, particularly with birds.
- Tony and Chelsea Northrup. A good source for learning about the technical aspects of photography and reliable advice about camera gear.

Notably absent from this list are landscape photographers. This genre does not lend itself to prescriptive "how to" videos in the same way that wildlife photography does. Camera technique is certainly important, but the key feature that determines excellence in landscape photography is artistic merit, which is subjective. This means that none of the many landscape photographers on YouTube has a lock on the "best" approach. Instead, they provide a palette of styles and approaches that you can draw on. By reviewing the work of many different photographers, you will eventually you will develop a sense for what works and what resonates with you.
