2023 Family Nature Nights: Guardians of Nature
FREE FUN for families with kids aged 4-12 although everyone is welcome and donations are encouraged!
When: RESCHEDULED TO Wednesday, August 30, 2023
6:00–8:00 PM (original date rescheduled due to forecasted thunderstorms)
Where: Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park, 400 Ray Gibbon Dr, St Albert
What: In this festival-style event, families will explore the nature stations at their own pace. Complete your passport by visiting all activity stations and earn a prize*!
Nature stations will be led by: Alberta Lake Management Society, City of Edmonton Pest management Lab, Northern Forestry Centre, Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta (ISCA), Alberta Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy, Big Lake Environment Support Society, North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance, University of Alberta - Future Energy Systems, Wagner Natural Area Society
Weather Details: Will run rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, notice of cancellation will be posted on our Facebook page and in the Facebook Event Discussion.
Registration Details: Registration is completed on-site. *Prizes available while supplies last - 1 per youth - on a first come first served basis. Be sure to arrive between 6-7 pm for enough time to visit all the stations.
