Guided Bird Walk
August 4 and 5, 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Want to start your festival day off with a song and a hike? Enjoy what this area has to offer with natural vistas and bird songs. We ask all attendees to meet with us at 7:30 AM at Gazebo Park in Blairmore. Afterwards the group will head to Burmis Lake for the remainder of the morning hike.
Enjoy a reasonably gentle 60-90 minute stroll and enjoy our area's natural beauty and excellent birds. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, drinking water and binoculars if you have them.
Wildflower Walks
August 5 and 6, 3:00-5:00 PM
Join Crowsnest Conservation Staff for an afternoon walk to view some of the varieties of wildflowers that bloom in our region. Appreciate the vistas and learn about local flora. A great event for the whole family with mostly flat conditions after an initial bumpy start. Benches await us at the end of our journey. Be sun safe and prepare for hot weather.
