Under Pressure: Threats to Alberta’s Native Plant Communities

When: April 17, 2024 at 12 PM

Speaker: Blake McNeill

You are invited to the Alberta Native Plant Council's (ANPC) next monthly lunchtime webinar mini-series, Under Pressure: Threats to Alberta’s Native Plant Communities.

The ANPC webinar mini-series Under Pressure: Threats to Alberta’s Native Plant Communities continues as Blake McNeill, co-founder of Alberta Native Plant Rescue, presents Forging Unexpected Alliances to Save Native Plants and inspires us to reassess some of our relationships with what might have been considered one-time adversaries and discover that we do share some common objectives. By merging our different skill sets, we can form powerful alliances to help save native plants in Alberta. Join us on Zoom on April 17, 2024 at 12 PM MST as Blake shares some of the innovative salvage projects the group has undertaken to rescue native flowers and grasses from roadways and development sites prior to demolition and transplant them into new habitat.

Join on Zoom for this presentation. You can register HERE or on the ANPC website.
