You can help lead Red Deer River Naturalists to foster an increased knowledge, understanding and appreciation of natural history, and to support conservation measures dealing with our environment, wildlife and natural resources.
Board members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission.
As a Board Member, you will review minutes and agendas and attend meetings. At the meeting you review quarterly financials, discuss agenda items, and make and vote on motions.
