Join Nature Calgary and Nature Alberta's newly launched Nature Kids Calgary Chapter on Dec 18th at 10 am for our annual Christmas Bird Count for Kids! Families of all ages are welcome to join us to observe winter birds. We will submit our birding list to contribute to data across the province, which scientists then use to help study how bird populations are changing. With free giveaways, a fantastic walk, and the chance to connect with other nature enthusiasts, this event is going to be a blast!
Christmas Bird Count for Kids takes place outside, so dressing for the weather is a must.

Prefer to observe birds from the comfort and warmth of your own home? Nature Kids will provide you with a cage suet feeder to watch through your window to participate as a Feeder Watcher. Supplies are limited to so register now by emailing naturekids@naturealberta.ca.
