Central Alberta Plant Study Group (Edmonton)

The Alberta Native Plant Council (ANPC) Central Alberta Plant Study Group (CA PSG) meeting season runs from October until April, where regular meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month, starting at 6:30 PM MT.

The meetings are in-person and are hosted by various speakers on various topics related to plants, with a focus on Alberta and native plants. All are welcome – novice to advanced botanists! The meetings take place in Edmonton at the University of Alberta main campus (Botany Wing, Biological Science Centre, ALTA Herbarium).

2023 Cardinal Divide Conservation Coalition Bioblitz

Kristen will be joining us to talk about the 2023 Cardinal Divide Conservation Coalition Bioblitz at Whitehorse Wildland Park.

Location: 5th and 6th floors, Biological Sciences Building (east end), Botany Wing, Saskatchewan Drive, University of Alberta, Edmonton

Parking/Transit Options: Meter parking along Saskatchewan Drive, bike racks on campus, parking lots on campus and in area, LRT/Bus station on campus

Access: For security reasons, some of the building doors may be locked after 6:00 PM MT. Please look for signs directing you to the nearest unlocked door. If you have any issues entering the building please email CentralPSG@anpc.ab.ca.
