  • ENC City Walk: Whitemud North

MEMBERS ONLY (no registration required)

Leader: Wayne Oakes
Description: 360 degrees, observing all manner of nature's biodiversity! Gravel trails with gentle grade slopes, easy walking for most.
Meeting time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Whitemud Creek north trail, Edmonton (full washroom facility)
Meet: at the north end of Whitemud Creek trail, just off Fox Drive. Meet at the parking lot for the Alfred H Savage Centre (13909 Fox Drive)
Duration: 3 hours

Description: MEMBERS ONLY. This is an evening event.

Owl banding at a local site thanks to the Boreal Avian Research and Conservation Association (BARCA). Observe the in-hand identification banding of wild owls done by trained conservationists.
Registration is required as the number of participants will be limited to 6. Details of the walk (location and meeting place and time) will be provided when you register.
