FJNP Christmas Bird Count

Jasper's annual Christmas Bird Count will be happening on Sunday, December 15. Take part in North America’s longest-running Citizen Science project and help celebrate its 125th anniversary.

Meet at the Friends of Jasper National Park office at 9am to select your area, to get your maps and binoculars (if you don't already have a pair) and to set up carpooling. If you have a vehicle, you're kindly asked to let FJNP know so that they have enough to reach various locations around the Park.

Would you prefer something closer to home? They also have backyard birding opportunities!

No experience is necessary so come out and join this fun activity! Dress warm, bring water, a warm drink and snacks and be prepared for a day of exploring.
