Red Deer River Naturalists

Yellow-rumped Warbler by J. WALLER

The Red Deer River Naturalists seek to involve citizens through education and opportunities that engage them to appreciate nature in Central Alberta. As such, they offer guided group bird walks throughout the summer months. Go on a bird focus group walk at River Bend Golf & Recreation Area, Kuhnen Park, or Radar Hill.

Up for something more adventurous? RDRN is pleased to host a Nature Central Outing on Thursday August 8th, 2024 when Myrna Pearman and Claudia Lipski will lead an evening paddle on a small lake near Eckville. The trip will be limited to ten participants and will proceed if weather conditions are favourable. To register, please email Myrna at myrnapearman.nature@gmail.com
