The Wonderful World Of Bees

Join the Native Alberta Bee Council's President, Megan Evans, to learn about Alberta's native bees. This talk covers the main groups of bees in Alberta, what they look like, where to find them and what you can do to help!

Megan Evans co-founded the Alberta Native Bee Council in 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and master's degree in Ecology. Megan is the Executive Director of the Alberta Invasive Species Council and President of the Alberta Native Bee Council. She became interested in bees when she worked as a summer student on a pollinator research study with Agriculture Canada.
