Volunteer with Nature Alberta at the Greater Edmonton Teachers’ Convention
This year’s Greater Edmonton Teachers' Convention will take place on March 2nd and 3rd, 2023 at Edmonton Convention Center. This event will host approximately 9000 delegates from Edmonton Public, Edmonton Catholic, Fort McMurray Public, and Fort McMurray Catholic school districts. Nature Alberta is attending as an exhibitor and needs your help to raise awareness for our educational nature resources available to teachers and students. We are in need of volunteers for the following shifts.
Set Up Volunteer
Wednesday, March 1, 11 am – 2 pm
Location: Nature Alberta, 3rd Floor, Percy Page Centre, 11759 Groat Road, Edmonton, AB, T5M 3K6
- Meet at the Nature Alberta office to load up the event material into vehicles to be taken to the Edmonton Convention Center.
- Unload and haul the boxes into the Exhibitor Hall at the Convention Center and set up the Nature Alberta booth.

- Assist with handing out educational material such as books as classroom resources and providing information on behalf of Nature Alberta to attending teachers.
- Encourage teachers to use Nature Alberta Magazine as a tool in the classroom to provide nature facts to the students.
- Promote the Nature Alberta website as a go-to accurate online resource for teachers.
