Weed Pulls – Crowsnest Pass
The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass together with Crowsnest Conservation Society are seeking a few brave able-bodied volunteers of all ages to help in the ongoing battle of removing (pulling by hand) invasive plants. Conservation-minded volunteers are needed to assist in this fight. No experience is needed; drop-ins are welcome.
Please bring your friends, family, water, & a snack. Remember to come with weather-appropriate clothing. Gloves will be provided.
Join Crowsnest Conservation Society to remove invasive species from the community landscapes in order to preserve the diversity of flora in our region on each Wednesday morning and strengthen both your arm muscles and flora knowledge in one go!
All weed pulls run from 9 AM to 12 PM. Bring snacks, water and appropriate clothing and we will supply you with the rest of the tools.
