Branches and Banks

Pull on your boots and grab your shovel — it’s time for Branches & Banks 2024!

Cochrane Environmental Action Committee will be gathering on Friday May 24th (corporate and school day) and Saturday, May 25th for the community tree plant event. Organized by CEAC in partnership with the Town of Cochrane, Branches & Banks is a great outing for all ages – come alone, or bring your family, co-workers, neighbors and friends!

Approximately 2500+ trees will be planted. Be sure to dress for the weather as the event goes ahead rain or shine. Bring gloves and spades for planting. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle.

Outreach Program: In conjunction with tree plant activities, volunteers will be given an opportunity to chat with local environmental educators.

On site Volunteer Check-In: starts at 9:00 am— look for the white canopy near the pathway along the river. Parking available at the SLS Centre east parking lot – walk over to the site.
