The Alberta Environmental Network (AEN) seeks phone canvassers to join the unique Alberta Talks project.
Alberta Talks runs campaigns that fulfill Albertans’ need for open and honest conversations about their conflicting feelings about our Oil & Gas economy in the face of climate change. The project utilizes canvassing to have meaningful conversations with voters to shift attitudes and raise urgency about the need for government action on climate change. The campaigns build people power to pressure our governments to take meaningful action.
The Alberta Talks staff and volunteer team have a goal of engaging 8,000 Albertans in conversations about unfair renewable energy regulations in Alberta.
They are hiring immediately for these part-time, temporary contract positions ending Feb 29, 2024. There is a possibility that the positions will be extended after that date.

- Hours: 10-20 / week
