Events at Ellis Bird Farm

Tree Swallow by Jack Waller

Ellis Bird Farm is a non-profit organization dedicated to conservation, education & sustainable agriculture, promoting environmental education and wildlife conservation, overseeing an extensive Mountain Bluebird, Tree Swallow, and Purple Martin monitoring program.

Ellis Bird Farm is now offering goat walking opportunities! Since they can only be done with a staff member present, we have specific times set, so make sure you plan your visit accordingly. They will be done on a first come, first served basis and are $5 per goat.

Here are the remaining goat walk times:

Monday September 4: 10:30-11am & 1:30-2pm
Saturday September 16: 10:30-11am & 1:30-2pm
Sunday September 17: 10:30-11am & 1:30-2pm
Saturday September 23: 10:30-11am & 1:30-2pm
Sunday September 24: 10:30-11am & 1:30-2pm

Ellis Bird Farm is hosting Chuck Priestly for a presentation on his kestrel research! Join them on Sept 23 at 2pm for an update on Strix Ecological's geo-location project on North America's smallest falcons. The event is free, but pre-registration is appreciated and encouraged!
