Volunteer at Kids Can Catch
Volunteer at Nature Alberta's info booth at the Kids Can Catch event organized by the Alberta Conservation Association on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Fort Lions Community Fish Pond (1875 River Valley Drive, Fort Saskatchewan).
Volunteer shifts available:
9:00 am - 12:30 pm
- Unload, haul the boxes, and set up the Nature Alberta booth.
- Assist with handing out educational material, giveaway items, and providing information on behalf of Nature Alberta to the participants.
- Engage participants in interactive kids' crafts and activities.
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
- Assist with handing out educational material, giveaway items, and providing information on behalf of Nature Alberta to the participants.
- Engage participants in interactive kids' crafts and activities.
- Assist to disassemble the tent and load up the remaining material into the vehicle.
This is an opportunity to encourage families and youth to become citizen scientists at our Nature Alberta citizen science education station, and contribute towards the Summer Biodiversity Challenge as well!
